The problem with good wines is that the bottle empties much faster! — 4 years ago
Nice version of this variety. Rich grape. Quite dry and acidic on the tongue. — 5 years ago
Great blended malt scotch. Slightly sweet. — 6 years ago
This wine is in a GOOD spot right now. CT Average of about 93, and I'd say that this is about right. 93-95 as this one still has probably 7-8 years before it is pop and pour. Acidic at the opening, but the patience (which we didn't have) would have served us well. Cabernet power from the front. Blackberry preserves, hint of mint, white pepper, hint of clove, middle that goes a little bit herbal, but still very considerable black fruit. Finishes strong, with pepper, spice. I know the last 750 I have is in danger, and hopefully I can also lay off the mag for at least a couple of years. — 7 years ago

So good! Buy again. $12 at Brookshires — 3 years ago
Strong on the nose. Rich, leathery tannins.
Black fruit, lots of good structure and a long chocolately finish. A gasoline note exists which is very inviting.
Juicy baby!
Characterizes the grape really well — 4 years ago
Pretty boring label guys. Farmer designed label. Lovely deep rose petal color. Smells of red-black berries, petrichor, and nice flower soap. Flavor is explosive classic Merlot. Granite, blackberries, cherries and bittering herbs. Streak of licorice and liquor. This would go with red meats like nobodies business. — 5 years ago
Rangy and effervescent. — 7 years ago
Enjoyed more than most others - rate it well - buy again. — 8 years ago
I think this might be my favorite Fevre wine, even more Les Clos and Preuses. Distinctly Chablis, but I get some stone fruit and honeysuckle. So good — 9 months ago
I forgot how good Talty zins are — 9 months ago

Dinner with friends, prior notes still apply.
A Burgundy bin end theme for my bottles tonight, all are the last stock of the wines that have given us great pleasure in the prior 12-18mo. They will be missed, but not forgotten, new vintages will come eventually. 🤩 — 6 years ago
