Excellent petit blanc qui accompagne avec succès des gambas, des sardines et du saumon, le tout cuit au barbecue. Des notes minérales et fruitées, notamment pêches blanches et pamplemousses. — 10 years ago
Stunner for 2001! Elegant and effusive out of the gate with freshness abound. Hints of mushroomed austerity and salinity that is supremely lifting. Such a treat!! — 9 years ago
I'm Unabashedly weak when it comes to Chenin blanc, but this really rises to the top of the heap in terms of complexity, orchard feel, and tingly finish. Bruised yellow apple and apricot with petrol viscosity, lemon meringue, tongue curling on the back, ending with a little heat — 9 years ago

Dried blackberries. Roasted red pepper. Cracked black pepper. Delicious chinon. Super dense ripe fruit. Only at terroir evidently. — 9 years ago

Been a little bit since I checked in on this. Baby Clos des Chenes. Nose is all stones, minerals, light cherry and seems closed aromatically. Palate is lush and rich with lovely balance, purity and freshness but seems closed. Lovely finesse. Serious dense fruit and structure. Black and red cherries. Great length but I'll check back in 2 hours if I'm up. If not tomorrow. — 9 years ago

Aromas of wood freshly cut via table or circular saw, caramelized sugar and radial tire - things were looking up. Initial glass was a bit short, which I must say was disappointing after such an auspicious beginning. After a bit of time, she broadened out into an elegant, almost weightless drink. So delicate and pleasant.
