Ah, €8 at the local Coop. It's delectable. Bright fruit, summer cherries, a little spice, but not heavy on the tongue. Overall a gorgeous wine with simple pasta, pork, and just drinking while watching a great spy flick on a chilly winter's evening. — 8 years ago
Light and crisp apple fruit. Slight sweetness consistent with a kabinett. Low alcohol, 10%. Consistent with German kabinetts. Love it with sushi or another fish dish. — 9 years ago
Yup that's poor Flick with his tongue stuck to the flag pole in a Christmas Story. Perhaps, the best Christmas movie 🎥 🌲 🎅. Another family tradition since it came out. As for the Muga rose, beautiful strawberries, cherries, watermelon, touch of tangerine, nice grainy chalkiness, good presence minerals but not overdone, really nice acidity and round, fresh, ripe, full, polished finish. Don't pull a Flick, it'll ruin your wine palate. — 9 years ago
I found the cow; I put my lips to the teat. I highly recommend Das Weinhaus in Trier, DE, if you find yourself near the Mosel. — 11 years ago

Rivaner, SB, weissburgunder, Riesling and muscateller- it's wacky! Like an everlasting gobstopper, flavor changes with each sip. Speaks to my inner wine geek. — 9 years ago

My favourite Cotes de Bourg wine & after having the yummy 2010 & 14 recently I wondered if a 19 year old top vintage @ £98 would hold well & yes it sure didly 😉 88 points from Parker 🤣 but not worth it’s hefty price tag 🤑

It surprised me. It’s got a tropical herbaceous thing. Like the tropical cocktail with just enough herb garnish to cut through whatever juice is in it. And bone dry. Do I have a metaphor for this...let’s see it is a movie that’s starts as a chick flick and then has a deep message but then still has a happy slightly cliché ending, and you’re okay with it. It’s the 13 Going on 30 of Chenins. Hop on hop in like the bunny on the bottle. — 7 years ago
Lily blossom, underripe nectarine. Apricot. Intense acid. Mineral presence. Ripe peach. Med- to med body. — 8 years ago

Christmas dinner. Paired nicely with the upset toddler and the Pixar flick while the grown ups got to eat. But the glass travels, so I was content. — 9 years ago
Dark ruby red, almost black at its center. The nose is bold and alluring with aromas of cherry, prune, vanilla, cinnamon, brand new cedar chest, and the occasional flick of black table pepper right to the back of the nostrils. Medium bodied with solid structure but still smooth and lush. Flavors of blackberries, plums, mint and pencil lead. It finishes with plums, mint, and some big tannin. — 10 years ago

He may not have been honest with me about this one. Said it was the Bodin on the menu, yet I didn’t point, I just said it, so perhaps it was a flick of the franglais that caused the faux pas. The thumb was properly positioned in his favor though. — 7 years ago
