A revisit 2 years later and nicely developing with additional silkiness and finesse. The whole cluster component adding exotic spices and complexity. — 8 years ago
Pear, lime and white peaches are a bit overshadowed by GV's classic peppery complexion. Grassy notes of fennel stocks, white pepper, and green tea fill in where the gripping acidity leaves off. A touch of effervescence doesn't hurt either. — 8 years ago
One of my favourites. Ever. — 8 years ago
It's like Heidi and her Grandfather went berry picking. He's languidly smoking a cigar while she fills her leather satchel with little red berries. — 9 years ago
Refreshing, off dry white with just the right touch of fizz. Best $13 value in several months. Nicer on day 1 chilled. — 9 years ago
Iron, metallic minerals, cumin, on the nose. Fruit & Middle Eastern spice, with wild deep raspberry fruit, with slight tannin & acid to balance. — 9 years ago
This was funky, interesting, and fun to drink. — 10 years ago

This wine will set you down in the middle of a candle lit heurigen, listening to a waltz whist surrounded by the Austrian Alps of the summer season. — 7 years ago
Phenominal. Can't say enough good about this white. The ONLY reason I don't give it a ten is because the Orange from Kivel Stadt is just a tad better! — 8 years ago

Very light color, but the taste was surprising complex. Fruit driven with a balance of acidity and a nice light oak flavor. I enjoyed the wine and would like to buy some more for consuming soon. — 8 years ago

Schöner ausgewogener Wein, tolle Bittertöne, lange im Mund. Lecker — 8 years ago
Nice choice (though I say so myself) to farewell an extended (sunny) Christmas break. Pronounced and intriguing nose with floral notes (apple and citrus blossom), fresh stone and citrus fruit, earthy tones and (VA interaction?) some delicious Armagnac suggestions. Fresh, clean and medium bodied in the mouth, easy flow and gently grippy, then with awesome pull through the long, limey finish. Lovely wine. — 8 years ago
