By the glass. Barb said aromas of Fairy Floss. (Aussies who have been to rural Agricultural Shows will be familiar with Fairy Floss - a sugary whipped confection). Also a note of Lemon and petrol, but oh so young - yet to display its potential. One of the least sweet Ausleses I have ever had. Great refreshment and lively acid. — 7 years ago

One of many wines I bumped into when reorganizing my cellar. A real Aha!-experience and an old-time favorite.
Light and bright yellow in the glass. Subtle complexity. Mouthwatering hints of green tea, jasmin, ginger, white pepper, lemonpeel, white peach and wet rocks. Drinking beautifully now, and the following decade.
Wonderful balance between sweetness, freshness, salinity and acidity. This is all about refinement. A classic Mosel beauty. 😍 — 4 years ago
Arietta Wines lunch with owner Fritz. We were able to taste through some current releases as well as some reserve wines Fritz brought with him personally. A treat to enjoy these Andy Erickson wines!
Classically styled and balanced. Very reminiscent of Spottswoode’s SB. Floral with tart fruit and medium acidity. Lots of lemon-lime here but also melon. Crushed rocks. Vibrant. — 7 years ago

Dry German Riesling pleasure with roast cod lion and crisp polenta at new restaurant Gezellig in Holborn. Will return to both this wine and restaurant! — 7 years ago
Fresh and lean ripper with clean fruit, intense smoky slate and unrelenting minerality. Very austere but also very appealing. — 8 years ago
This is delicious. Dry but still fruity and gloriously fizzy. I bought it for the stripes and I was not disappointed. — 8 years ago

Was excited to drink this again after having it at Passport Wine Weekend, it is delicious and now it will sit and get better — 8 years ago
This was a fucking beast. 15.5% abv, but it didn't drink like it. Classic Barossa. — 8 years ago

Suuper reductive, with funky notes of petrol and sour cream. Quite spritely too - almost lemonade-like. The palate is intense, concentrated, powerful and acidic and honestly quite inscrutable at this stage. Wow, this is a serious Riesling that demands patience. 90++ — 2 years ago
