A fantastic example of low fruit wine with tastes of rose water, ocean mist, limestone, and spices that follows scents of green apples and strawberries. Oh, and the lingering finish...yum! Pairs well with most anything, but tonight it was General Tso Chicken that this Rose cut through with ease. Look forward to meeting again. — 10 years ago

It definitely needs to breathe a but but its good. Fruity without being too sweet. I drank it after a long work week and frankly it did the trick! Worth a try and a good wine to bring to a party of non/wine drinkers alike. — 11 years ago

Nice little pinot but man these 2014 Martinelli Pinots could all use about 4-5 years of bottle aging! 1 of 4 brought with us on a little weekend getaway, and was a great accoutrement. Nice acidity, great raspberry grit and had an herbal nose and finish. Really pleased, and even more pleased that the rest are in the lockup where they belong for a few years. — 9 years ago
Darker Ruby with aromas of big red fruits and slight spice. On the palate bold black cherry, blackberry and plum with rich tannins around some oak. Well balanced the fruit stays with this wine on a lingering finish. — 10 years ago

Crisp, but not too sweet. — 12 years ago
Like mineral water, in the best way possible. — 12 years ago
Ok. Let this breathe for 45..... and it is beautiful. I can smell rose petals and cherry sauce emanating from the glass from 3 feet away! The tannins cut right through the ravioli. This reminds me of tannic Oregon Pinot Noir. Rose water mixed with saddle leather and wet earth. — 10 years ago
Well worth the buck per oz. Amazing... Shout to the 209! — 10 years ago
This fine thing pulls me in as I breath her earthen essence faintly fragrantly post-rain flowerlike wet, dripping a whiff of some distant weed working its way around the corner as a horn player lays out a rhythm to which we dance turning, twisting, eyeing discriminately she shows her plum-to-burgundy rim, then goes deeper, as she lightly touched my lips showing red fruit unctuously lava-like clinging leaving a ripe plum-like memory touched by cassis long and lasting begging for more - so we continue...amazing locally-farmed, open-water oysters... — 10 years ago

Lite, refreshing, versatile and moderately priced. — 11 years ago
Golden colour.
Honey and medicine nose, smoky peat develops after a few minutes.
Sweet fruit then burn and a long smoky finish, needs a few drops of water.
Delicious and changes in the glass
