Again, rating largely irrelevant but this didn't just surpass expectations but demanded slow, contented and contemplative sips. The Clare Riesling is Crouchen, and it also has Pedro Ximénez in the blend. Acacia honey, wet wool and stewed stone fruits with enjoyable waxiness to the texture. A real surprise. — 9 years ago

Still looking youthful with lits of primary fruit that's absorbed the 100% new oak of the one-barrel make Yarra Valley wine. Plenty of juicy red fruit, tobacco, cedar and leafiness, and it's got this galloping length to it. Superb. — 9 years ago
