The expressive nose shows ripe peach, apricot, coconut, dried white flower, roasted almond, and hint of honey. The medium to full body is richly textured with great depth of flavors echoing the nose, yet mange’s to be nimble enough. Long elegant finish.
From selected parcels from the estate vineyards at the highest elevation, This is an exuberant yet graceful chard. Super delicious. — 5 years ago
This is good. The nose is gorgeous. I can smell it for days (I have been). There’s white pepper, potpourri medley (rose, lavender), red and blue fruit. The tannins are lush with present acidity that’s not overbearing. That palate has a good spice, less floral quality with good red fruit, pomegranate and red cherries. I’d say drink now, but definitely don’t wait more than a couple years (2022 ish). — 6 years ago

Walter is a genius for saving Timorasso. Petrol, marzipan, and loads of minerality. — 8 years ago

Classic Walter Scott. Lighter on the palate. Slight wood. Cherry. — 11 years ago
Nice and smooth — 12 years ago
What a nose. Huge minerals, herbs, vanilla extract, flowers. Really herbal and perfumed. Also some sort of tree bark and tonic aromas. Huge intense palate with that 21 edge. Salty, crunchy and intense. Long and pure. Terrific inner mouth aromas. Concentration. So juicy and long. Elegant. So pure. Refreshing. Salty. So so long. The finish is so good. — 4 years ago
Almost 2 years since I’ve had this. What a wine. Gorgeous nose of herbal vegetables that are so so fresh. Dynamic mineralIty on the nose with also a hint of fat. Palate is elegant and mineral with wonderful juiciness and a haunting opulent yet undeniably fresh texture. Age has really helped this be fully expressive. Great balance and purity. — 7 years ago
Delicious flavorful from the first sip to the last drop. — 7 years ago
Cahill earns her place on the rich end Of the spectrum and the 2012 vintage shows that character especially well. Ripe orchard fruits. Apricots. Cultured butter. Brioche. Abv is warm but the style supports it. — 11 years ago
Good stuff for $24 (6 yrs ago)... — 13 years ago
Summer yum …. Killer gamay noir from Pinot/chard experts. We all need more light bodied summer reds that dance across your palate at cellar temp. Low ABV… light purple, cherry, berry, juicy sweetness with lively acid driving the fruit towards the finish. The bottle was gone too quickly with smash burgers and hand cut fries. Reminder to self: buy more next year, — 4 years ago
Birthday gift cards = high-end thanksgiving pinots. Russian River candy apple top notes remain my favorite. — 5 years ago
Accompanied Thanksgiving dinner. Might be one of the highest rated Chards I’ve ever tried. Enjoyed it. Well made. Matched well with our Bernaise sauce. We debated how to rate this given all the other wines served were red or dessert wines. Should be rated higher if served with other Chardonnay-appropriate dishes. — 6 years ago
This is a very good pac NW Pinot. Lovely now but Maybe another year or 2 to lay down. — 7 years ago
Not your typical SV. Drinks like a chardonnay. — 8 years ago
Lovely nose. Cherry flowers and spatburgunder. Palate is so fresh. Lovely bright cherry with some depth. Very very Juicy. Mineral. Nice long finish with a hint of licorice. Really really delicious. This is an early ripening variant of Pinot noir. Bought from Fass Selections. Some savory elements starting to come out at 60 minutes. Oh Wow. It’s getting even better. Nose is chambolly. Palate has awesome texture. Sweet fruit. Mineral. Spice. Wow. — 8 years ago

The Meadows - Chardonnay bottling from one of my favorite Sonoma producers. Retails for ~$25 — 13 years ago
Adam Kincaid
Paired side-by-side with 2016 Lingua Franca Bunker Hill. (Same vintage, same vineyard, different producers!) the this Walter Scott won our hearts and tongues but just barely. Beautiful reduction notes on the nose - burnt matches, some grass, and candied tropical fruits. Strong lemon and orchard fruit components with good malo creaminess and oak, but bright acid and medium bodied tightness. Drank over a few hours and it kept opening with more fruit like papaya, green apple, and apricot. I wish this wouldn’t end. — 4 years ago
