Classic CdP in every way. Beginning to enter prime drinking window but I’m guessing there’s still a bit of upside before it holds that spot for a while. Awesome w steaks and grilled veggies. — 7 years ago
Smoky, peppery, almost effervescent. I'm a fan — 8 years ago
1999 Gianfranco Soldera Riserva Brunello. Lunch at T w Roger S and BP. Drank alongside the '99 Insignia. Decanted this wine ~30 min. We think this was an off bottle. Thin, high acid, no finish. Too bad. — 8 years ago
How'd the 375ml of '59 Chevy w mid-shoulder fill show?
#LIKEABOSS!
Nose of crushed leather furniture, cigar box, fig, Christmas cake, plum & hints of a red cherry cordial
Still a pop of acidity with the fruit, but richness dominated adding raisin to the flavors along w feral animale & shaved dark chocolate taking over on the lengthy finish — 8 years ago
you better have port wine on your screen, and graham's is a big player, big in quality, though, as well!
never say "industrial" here.
qd malvedos is a sub vinery and allowed to make it's own vintage ports in years graham's doesn't declare.
this is a catch, really, if you are lucky enough to get it! — 9 years ago
This wine is robust with moderate to high tannins, which I love. But what I love even more is that it is still very smooth. — 10 years ago
Birthday wine. After 25 yrs this pretty Cab is holding up very well. Clean w dark fruits, mint and some spice. Cork did crumble but was able to salvage. @SilverOak memorable wine. — 10 years ago

1985 Sassicaia. Second red wine at Redd Wood lunch w A, S, and K. This wine was perfect. Epic. We could not believe how perfect this wine was drinking. Thoroughly enjoyed it- it was enjoyable the way truffles are- hard to describe, but pleasing to all relevant senses. — 10 years ago
2009: quite dense appearance; ripe black / red fruit w a faint touch of horse hair (Brett ); generously proportioned attack of ripe red and black fruit, leads onto medium weight palate which finishes fruitfully but without the verve of a "classic" vintage. A satisfying and quite delicious drink without being memorable. A lot of 09 burgundies would fit these descriptors. — 10 years ago
A great vintage succulent cherry fruit — 11 years ago

A surprisingly bright and crisp (like lemons and pears) white from Paso Robles, better known for its reds. Terrific summer sips here! — 7 years ago
