Pale lemon with complex aromas of fresh ripe citrus and tropical fruits with zesty floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, lime citrus and melon with lemongrass and floral herb notes. Long finish ending with juicy fruit, herb and citrus notes, lively acidity with mineral character. Outstanding! Will reward with a few years of age! — 8 months ago
Fooled me for a white burgundy. What a delight. — 4 years ago
This was great tonight. Another Maggie Harrison wine! — 6 years ago
Ruby colored liquid in my glass. Hints of cherry pie on the nose. Flavors of tart cherries, red plums and baking spices. Beautiful acidity. A very balanced wine. This is my last regular bottle of CP wine. I do have a VS Pinot which I will sit on for a while. Glad other wineries are making really good wines from the Clos Pepe vineyard. — 7 years ago
Probably my fave Pinot for the price so far. Very drinkable, not too fruity. — 8 years ago
We had the battle of the Shiraz at our family gathering over Christmas. A Shiraz from South Australia and South Africa. Both 2016. This Shiraz, despite from the Adelaide Hills where I think it is a little cooler, was very rich, very bold and broad and a slight jammy note on the edge perhaps. People liked it, but all the votes when for the Shiraz of Cederberg from South Africa. Fun!!! — 5 months ago

We had this and Louise for an in house vertical. Both had a great mouthfeel. Both had black cherry, black raspberry and a cherry liqueur feel. Jessie was just a little lighter in flavor. Both were better now than when I had them 6 years ago. Medium bodied, fruit forward. — 6 months ago
2017. Floral bouquet on the nose, punch of cherry cola. Black Forest gateau with kirsch and old leather. Herbal poultry blend on the finish. Rich and complex. Unami. — 8 months ago

Drinking this wine made me forget Donald Trump was our president. Which begs the question, is it better to have drank, then to never drank at all?

A superb Chardonnay! Aromas of Anise and Honeysuckle. Apple and Honey on the bud. Crisp and smooth with a long finish. Great with our Salmon tonight. Need to order more from Evening Springs as we were extremely impressed with their wines when we visited earlier this year. — 5 months ago
Young but impressive. Light mixed berries, cinnamon, bright acidity. Damp earth emerges and fruit sweetens over time. — 6 months ago
