American Son 2020 with Scott White — 6 years ago
Melon, apple. Pear. Classic Butter popcorn. Some very slight grassiness or herb. Vanilla ramps up on the finish. Complex, strong, and perfectly oaked. Lots of soul here. — 8 years ago
Gardenia, perfume, honey and apricot. M- acid, m body. Balanced with a long finish. — 9 years ago
Had this at veggies engagement party. Very tasty for a Virginia wine. — 9 years ago
Wonderful blend, pass the word. — 9 years ago
The splashy label gave me pause and I approached with caution, but once I tasted, I was hooked. Fruity and warm without being a fruit bomb. Strong finish with stewed fruit and a hint of star anise. I would enjoy this all night solo hit it begs for food. — 11 years ago
Hello Ankida Ridge 2010 Pinot Noir, we meet again — 11 years ago
This is my last of 4 bottles of this gold medal winner. PV is what Jefferson specializes in and this one still sings as beautiful with 6+ years of aging — 5 years ago
Bold. Beautiful. Delicious. — 5 years ago
Nate Walsh and his Terroir Testimony. Year after year, he crafts liquid, articulate, honeydew wine...this one aged to perfection! 2014 allowed for plenty of acidity - and this the ideal match to a honey-baked ham with Roo Scalloped Potatoes!! — 8 years ago
Absolutely fantastic. 100% Chardonnay and a hair from bone dry. Couldn't have guessed this was New World wine, let alone from Virginia. Super stuff. — 9 years ago
Tension, purity, verve and filigree come to mind here and can only take the mind to one place for Chardonnay: Chablis. OK so now the mind is set in Chablis with style but then we take a different take on the finish that was crazy long and pure, dry extract on full display here as this hummed along nicely to the finish. Another amazing Chardonnay from Jim Law at Linden. — 9 years ago
2004 vintage- awesome. Apricot, honey, heavenly — 10 years ago
Excellent on its own, opens up nicely — 11 years ago
Earthy, dark fruit, licorice — 11 years ago
Really enjoyed the balance of fruit and oak - good for a cooler day when you still want a white. Not ideal summer drinking wine — 5 years ago
Red berry, humid summer forest, hints of old leather jacket and hard candies on the nose. Plum, raspberry, tart cherry, notes of vanilla, soft puckering tannins lingering with juicy cranberry on the finish. Nice red for Virginia. Went well with pizza. — 5 years ago
Wonderful citrus profile and requisite verve. Another exceptional vintage for Jeff White!! At $25, what a great VA value! — 7 years ago
After breathing for a little it opened up and was fantastic. — 8 years ago
C light yellow; Granny Smith apple, nice acidity — 8 years ago
An influence in style to old school Bordeaux for sure, elegance and power in a very persistent medium+ body. The nose is very true to the Cabernet varietals, cassis, cherry, currants with a tweak of pepper and spice. Long and pure.on the finish, very well made. Tasted side by side with the 2006 and on two other occasions. — 9 years ago
Interesting mix of strawberry and melon. Great versatile rose. — 9 years ago

Ron from VA
So not much has changed in 3 yrs since first trying this in the tasting room. The profile is lean and linear. 69 CS 16 Merlot and the rest PV. This clearly the weakest build of Jeff’s run of left bank builds. The 2014 was classic, so not huge numbers for the CS. THE TEXTURE IS LOVELY though. ;) 90+ for sure, keeping the streak ALIVE!! — 4 years ago
