Granny Smith's, lemons, and steel. Literally, like smelling a steel beam. Fairly simple, but very enjoyable!

A light straw-gold color. The nose is pure focusing on succulent apple/pear fruit, some white florals allied with stone and steely minerality. The palate is medium+ in body, with bright fruit and acids, and a long persistent finish that is a solid beam a pure dry extract that lingers for well over a minute. Exceptional.

Another win for Virginia Chardonnay. Heavy on the lemon citrus, tartness of a Granny Smith apple, and minerality of rocky terrain. A long dry finish that stays with you. I imagine this would be great in the summer with some salmon...

Going local for the SOTU! Still think this would fit into a lineup with Chablis or St. Aubin. Has that lemon, mineral, and acidity of those places. Not oakey at all, maybe a little hot.
