Very good. Older is better (2008 vs 2012). Spices, darl red fruits, floral and mineral nose. Light tanins, light acidity, bold red fruits. very good for the prixe — 8 years ago
Loved it. Picked it up from Whole Foods and came away pleasantly surprised by its depth. For under $15 you cannot go wrong with this. I'll be buying more. — 8 years ago
Fun volcanic wine. The scent and taste is not Reductive, it is sulphur, from volcanic soil, not oxygen deprived production. Think of sun baked black lava rocks. Clean sulphur dominate mineral with saline notes. Reductive would be more noxious rubber hose and burnt match. Serve lightly chilled, and think of Sherry or Jura. Instead of briny olive notes in a sherry, the salty herbal note of the wine is more Celery (which pairs well, especially on the first day on the finish). The fruit is soft and ripe, secondary to mineral, and in the category of golden raisin (without the raisin). Color is a solid gold, at purchase I believe it was pale lemon. Drink now, or possibly hold additional 4 years for more sherry-like notes.

There is a very pronounced earthy streak running through this one. The cherry aromas and flavors are there, for sure, but they are struggling to burst through a heavy layer of earthy sediment. I think of it as “dirty cherry.” The rustic nature actually makes me think of rusty, as in a piece of metal covered in iron oxide. The structure is a little weak, but that makes it very sippable. The minerals will go nicely with a piece of lean beef or pork. — 9 years ago
Decanted for 30 min, color light/translucent brickred, nose spicy, fruity , cherries, raspberries, taste delicious fresh, no oak( after all almost any red from Spain has oak) Vinos de Madrid is the best expression of Garnacha you can get🍷🇪🇸 — 7 years ago
Dry and refreshing. Perfect for summer time afternoons. — 7 years ago
Delicious berries and smooth. Great for drinking on its own without a meal — 8 years ago
Excellent Spanish red and a happy surprise that we found this in Thailand. 1200baht. Not bad considering the 400% thai wine mark up. Best wine for the price in Thailand so far — 8 years ago

An 07 for under $18, how can you go wrong — 9 years ago
Very nice for a cheaper bottle of red - it was one of the choices with an M&S dine in meal deal. Surprisingly good. — 7 years ago
For the price fantastic — 7 years ago
juicy, full flavored medium body Esp red blend. very good for this price. berry, chocolate, soft tannins — 8 years ago
Wonderfully balanced with some spice and character but not too much weirdness for an organic wine. I’d happily drink again. — 8 years ago
Loved this! Kept going back for more. Balanced and refine. A beautiful expression of the grapes and land where they were formed. — 9 years ago
Took a chance on this one. I'm glad I did. Bright and juicy with great tannins. Opened it and left it for a few minutes and it opened up lovely — I loved it even more. So juicy!!! — 9 years ago
Note to self: reminder of how high end sherry hits sweet spot of profundity & shout out loud enjoyment. Flavor wave after wave of salted tofee, burnt sugar, dried porcinis & lord knows what else.Had on own after meal but begs for food too--creamy stinky cheese imaginw — 10 years ago
