This is definitely a top surprise. "Amateur" but with a huge potential in bottle. Acidity of the 2011 harvest in 2017 is still alive and promising the release of some exaggerated alcoholic syndromes. Very good for fat red meat. — 8 years ago

Rich cherry and black currant nose. Color is purple with a watery thin edge. In the mouth it is not as sweet as the nose is. There is a rather fresh acidity bringing balance. It will be accompanied by the veal cheeks and mash. Looking forward to that.

The 90 rating by Wine Enthusiast for this fruity, balanced, Portuguese grapes based Tinto (red) is well deserved. At such a reasonable price, no wonder it's sold out. If you find it, try it. I did. And it was delectable. — 8 years ago
