A fairly dry wine at this point from a rather restrained, linear vintage that produced wines devoid of botrytis but with good fruit and a core of fine acidity--nicely balanced and a very nice food-friendly bottle. — 12 years ago

Great example of German Riesling Auslese. A bit more developed than expected due to small bottle. Aromas of dry herbs, especially sage, honey, dried apricot, baked apple. Great acidity to balance the sweetness. Body is round and smooth, some hazelnuts and butter in the aftertaste — 8 years ago
