A sparkling red is new for me. The bubbles aren’t as many as from champagne region, but the taste is sweet and spectacular! — 6 years ago
Saline, peach, citrus, and minerality @ Trefilari in Siena — 6 years ago
Delicious and different. Oxidative, rich. Not a beginner wine. — 7 years ago
Nose: white peach, yellow apple, bruised melon, apricot, grass, Parmesan cheese, wet hay.
Palate: pear, apple, lemongrass, lime, saline, grapefruit, parsley, medium astringency. — 8 years ago
Great with food esp spicy Sichuan. By itself not as great, green apples and minerals about, a bit like a Sauv Blanc with a light effervescence in the liquid. — 9 years ago
One of the best everyday whites I've had in a long time — 9 years ago
Funky and delicious with pork pasta. — 4 years ago
This Italian white wine sports a nose full of minerals and hard citrus with a nice savory streak to back it up. The straw-colored juice has a fantastic salinity on the palate, which is mostly minerals. The mouthfeel is a bit fuller than expected, but acidity is bright and fresh. Pair this wine with seafood, especially shellfish or a creamy chowder.

Grabbed this wine for Christmas wine and cheese. Nice straw color, aroma is up front with minerality and earthiness but has delicate floral and pear/apple undertones. Flavor is delicate citrus, apple blossoms, and hay balanced with a soft acidity. Overall a nice delicate wine that probably doesn't pair well bar cheese and summer sausage but drinks nicely on its own. Would buy again. — 5 years ago
Surprise surprise! Lychee with various floral notes. Not expected at all and definitely welcomed. Love love love — 7 years ago

A very balanced wine. Wonderful stone fruits of underripe apricot and peach. More dense than other Vernaccia’s we have tried but with a clean brightness that we have come to expect. — 9 years ago
Quite nice with some light Chinese food — 9 years ago
