Solid but prefer the Les Marrotes from the same producer. Similar styles but this one is a little bit zestier without the structure. — 10 months ago
Citrus, gooseberries, flint, hint of gin-like botanicals. Meyer lemon on the palate, similar aromas to a Sancerre vur fuller bodied. — 10 months ago
2015 vintage Chianti Gran Selezione.
80 % Sangiovese, 13 % Merlot and 7 % Malvasia Nera.
Deep dark ruby red.
Perfumed nose with black currants, violets, olives and cocoa.
Ripe black plums, leather, black tea with polished silky tannins.

Schioppettino. Rustic, earthy funkiness. Blackberries, citrus pith, white pepper, brambles. Apparently rare in the US, from Fermented Grapes. — 5 years ago

Sardinian Vermentino. Savory, refreshing, pairs well with grilled and garlicky food. — 4 years ago
Tucked atop a steep hill in the Langhe is the small village of Barbaresco, home of the GAJA winery. Medium lemon color with aromas of delicate tropical, stone & citrus fruits with herb floral notes, blend of Vermentino and Viognier. On the palate rich pear and peach flavors, nutty herb and spicy notes. Long finish ending with fruit, herbs and generous mineral character. Nice! — 9 months ago
