Great wine to just drink on it’s own. That said, I had it with my usual Italian dish test pairing. Medium-full body, cherry/red pepper initial taste then unsweetened dark chocolate second. Ends with a return to the red pepper/deep red wine taste. — 7 years ago

Delicious. Such a unique grape. Flower’s galore on the nose. Strawberry, cherry, some black pepper on the tongue. Only 12.5%. Great with light fare, apps, chicken; may even put a chill on it on a hot, summer day! — 4 years ago

Lacrima di Moro d’alba is unique to le Marche. Wildflowers, perfume, and cardamom on the nose. An underlying sweet candy quality to it. Finish a little tannic. Very different grape/ wine. Worth a try if u see one ( most people won’t). — 7 years ago
