Rich, funky, tart. Nice. — 10 years ago
Initial Big upfront with a bold almost harsh explosion of tannins that mellows quickly. ( we did decant this wine) but the second taste ( with lasagna) was softer with a complex changing taste that fades quickly. — 10 years ago
This is an urban boutique winery's showcase wine. It' big and chewy without losing its prettiness. Nose is medium(+) intensity with plum, blackberry, nutmeg, and dry earth. Palate shows sweet, chewy tannins, bright acidity, black fruit, baking spices, dark cocoa powder, and americano coffee. Finish is long and delicious. — 10 years ago

Very delicious, toasted caramel and rich porter-like flavour. Hard to place what else I'm tasting but this robust ale is unique and a seasonal treat. — 10 years ago

Lot of maracuya and litchi aromas and very crisp acidity. Perfectly fresh for the season. Nicely paired with grouper fish over ratatouille. — 11 years ago
