Comte Lafon is considered one of the top producers of Burgundy with most of their bottles selling for triple digits and four digits for their top wines. In the late nineties they ventured out of Burgundy proper (the Cote d'Or) and also setup shop in the southern Burgundy region of the Maconnais by purchasing a domaine there. The focus of the domaine is Chardonnay and they have bottlings from many different villages and vineyards. The vines are farmed Biodynamically (a practice that goes far beyond organic) and most of their wines see a limited amount of oak in order to let the vines express themselves. These are some of the best values you will find in white Burgundy and Chardonnay in general. Ever bottle I've tasted from them so far has been laced with beautiful minerality. — 10 years ago

Light, with a lovely floral nose. Unpeated and aged in new oak. This was the favorite of some at #oldlinescotchclub #campbeltown #whisky #hazelburn #delectableapp — 9 years ago
Smells like whiskey. Notes of oak, caramel and a slight toastiness. Easy drinking too. — 10 years ago

This triple single vineyard Pinot Gris has and amazing nose with an equally amazing palate! Lots of tropical notes on the both parts! — 11 years ago
One of our top favorite Scotches, if not the top. Slightly peaty, very smooth and rich, strong hints of oak and smoke. — 11 years ago
Floral; sweet with a little tartness. A touch of citrus in the finish. — 9 years ago
2010. Striking aromatics of tropical and stone fruit and and oak. Texturally creamy and weighty with a refreshing acidity combines with those stone fruits making this a nice thirst quencher for triple digits heat today. — 9 years ago
Fantastic find over Fourth of July. Creamy, heavy finish but bright throughout. A bit of butter but balanced. No oak. This may be the "go to" crowd pleaser white. — 10 years ago
Nose is stellar, lacking the backbone I'd expect from Bernard. Oak to pair with Christmas salmon. Solid. — 11 years ago
One of the best Single Malts! — 11 years ago

Oak and candied cherries on the nose with a perfume character. Light on the palate with a tastes of leather, wood, dark fruits and a hint of citrus. Not very sweet! Nice lingering finish. — 9 years ago
