Wonderful white Confini by Lis Neris from Friuli. Cuvee of Pinot Grigio - Gewurztraminer - Riesling. Great blend, explosive flavours, great white wine! — 5 years ago
Strong notes of lychee. Laura brought it for a roast chicken shabbas dinner. — 6 years ago
Mellow, hints of honey — 7 years ago
Golden yellow. There’s a lot of cooked apple on the nose, along with lychee nut, rose pedals, citrus peel, and a hint of Trident gum. Medium bodied with medium acidity and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Flavors of cooked apple, lychee nut, and canned pineapple. Finishes with a touch of heat and long lasting flavors of cooked apples and peppermint. Lively summer thirst quencher! — 7 years ago
Insane.
Peaches, nectarines, roses, chocolate, almonds. Super weird and delightful. — 9 years ago
Wine 1/12 (Gemischter Satz)
Nose has pear, wild yeast fermentation, pineapple core, cold orange slice and minor apple cider.
Palate has cooked pear, mild Saison-esque notes, cold pineapple, dry minerality, peach peel, nice acidity and a medium finish.
Once again it is notable that I have made one full trip around the Sun earlier this week. We had our small, social bubble team to the house for celebrating my getting older and somewhat less flexible in advancing age...Whatever will be done when I creast 50? Well, at least it's several years until needing manage that concern.
We enjoyed well-salted Ribeyes (Kinderhook Farm - Valatie, NY, prepared 48h in advance), turning to a beautiful medium-rare after a mere 12m of grill time and smashed, small red potatoes with capers (yeah try it, don't judge me yet). None of the bottles were particularly planned as 'steak wines'; we didn't care as it really was a wine nerd-fest of grapes/regions, from Burgenland, Austria to Brittany, France. Wine and food were on individual plateaux today. This was the vom Boden Spring Experience case, expertly curated by Stephen Bitterolf, and well received by our tasting crew. — 5 years ago
Well aged white wine. Vintage 2003. After opening and breathing for 20+ minutes, beautiful aromatic nose of apple, pear and peach and lovely menthol nose to it. — 6 years ago
Super intense, amazing Riesling! — 8 years ago
My favorite white wine! Can't stop drinking it. I always finish the whole bottle in one night. — 8 years ago

Première expérience avec Meinklang, petit fizz en bouche, abricots, pêche, miel mais sans trop de sucrosite. Belle fraicheur, ca se boit seul. Plus un vin de patio que de journee de tempête disons! — 4 years ago
