Have I had better, yes. Is this worth 6.99 at total wine... I would pay twice that and would've been pleased. Med-full bodied, but very light drinking. Tiny baby tannins. Fruit is pronounced, but not overpowering. Good table wine for everyday meats. — 11 years ago

This wine is a mouthful. Really full bodied, even and large expression of fatty stone fruits and well made barrels. We had this wine with Mango, Brie and Arugula Panini along side a nice plate of fatty charcuteries and it was a total marriage of intent. If you like 'em big, this is your wine. — 11 years ago

Got to take advantage of another Wednesday Wine Committee and boy was it worth it. Wow! Killer wines brought by Glenn for his 60th! As always, wines tasted blind. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine.

As @Bill Bender says, "lunch bags for the win!" Absolutely gorgeous. Well crafted and refined. Almost elegant at this stage. Hardly any bricking. Great color. Hard to imagine this wine being any better than it is now. Total harmonious package of dark fruit, medium bodied palate, and a great nose that keeps you guessing between Napa and Bordeaux. — 9 years ago

Wow, a delicious wine! A new favorite from total wine for around $12. Not a typical zin. May sound odd but I smell root beer, salami, and some berry. On the tongue some spice, oak, cherry, and smoke. A nice finish lingers. This is definitely a new favorite and repeat buy. — 12 years ago
