TOR Kenward Family Wines

To Kalon Vineyard Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Not quite as good as the '05. However, Tor is my favorite all time winery. This is as good as I was hoping. — 10 years ago

Petrol, mineral, golden fruit, note of botrytis. Good acid. Still fresh. Spicy, peppery. Note as baroque as some vintages. — 11 years ago

Clone 337 Beckstoffer To-Kalon Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

I've been a long time fan of Tor Kenward wines and year after year they just keep getting better. This 08 is delicious - but just not in the same category as the last two vintages. — 10 years ago

Tor Calvano

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sangiovese Blend 2010

This vino Nobile went down with awesome grilled lamb steaks. Great combo. Also great with dark chocolate. — 10 years ago

TOR Kenward Family Wines

Noble Rot Late Harvest Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 2006

I was served this dessert wine from Tor Kenward blind, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it is not a Sauternes. It reminds me of 2009 Guiraud, though perhaps slightly less concentrated. As the glass warms up, heady aromas of ripe apricot, dried pineapple, clover honey, candied ginger and baking spices leap forth. Unctuously textured, with vibrant acidity. The finish on this golden-robed beauty lasts for well over a minute. — 11 years ago
