Very fruity. Black cherry and blackberry aromas and some notes of cinnamon, then balanced fruit and baking spices that tingle the tongue and linger on. What Goes with That: Fall Sweets Class, pairing: pumpkin pie. — 2 years ago
A bit dryer and thinner (tannins) than the usual three sticks Pinot. I liked it, but the Russian river is not my favorite — 4 years ago

Rich ripe fruits with a nice balance of acid, body, tannins. Good with Thanksgiving through dinner and dessert! — 7 months ago
Dark garnet color. Fresh red berry/cherry aromas with hints of minerals and fresh herbs. More sour cherry and cranberry on the palate with hints of earth, black tea, black licorice and rhubarb. Medium-plus body, soft texture and light tannins. Pretty good. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! — 9 months ago
Loved it. Lush, bold flavors soft finish. — 3 years ago
WOW at first pour this was incredibly smooth. After 2 hours this tastes like one of the best cabs I’ve ever had. Dark red, tart raspberries, cinnamon, spice box, cherry early but subsided over the decant, clove, pine tree, chocolate early, french oak intensified over the hours. — 7 years ago

Big, rich, maybe just a little too ripe (as @Tom Casagrande pointed out in a note about an earlier vintage), but still a nice, solid, old vine field blend, Contra Costa County history!! — 6 months ago
