Dana Thompson had the perfect description on Delectable of this wine--it's the perfect combo of Burgundy and Napa Pinot... earth, must, and fruit. Very enjoyable. — 9 years ago

You can feel the space that used to be filled with fruit, which for me is a good thing. More open room for this to spread out into and reveal the floral, herbal and honeyed notes that were formerly steamrolled over. A touch of oxidation starting to creep in, but for now that's a welcome addition to the whole. — 10 years ago
Monthly WTF wine night with a theme of “something to impress”. As always, wines were tasted blind.
I really enjoyed this and I feel like it’s in a prime drinking window (though it can hold for a while). I called this whole cluster Oregon Pinot. Looked like Beaujolais in the glass...very bright raspberry color. Perfumed aromatics highlighting whole cluster stemmy-ness (100% whole cluster) with ripe raspberries and bing cherries. Nimble and acidic on the palate showing crunchy cranberry, juicy cherry, spiced fruit and cedar. Thanks, @Jack Thompson . — 6 years ago
Super drinkable, what a surprise. 2014 vintage. Would call it a straight Cabernet if I didn't know. — 8 years ago
