Better reading than a lot of more expensive mascatos, but some may say it can be too sweet at times. You can't beat the value, I would suggest this as dessert, however. — 7 years ago
Still good smooth mellow yet not worth holding on too drink now — 8 years ago
Deep purple in colour. Some sediment. Cedar, tobacco, black currant on the nose. Black fruit, tobacco to taste. Long finish. Opened up in the glass. Could handle one to two more years in the cellar. — 8 years ago
I love all things Saxon Brown. I've tried almost all of their wines, and the Parmelee-Hill did not disappoint. — 8 years ago
An old favorite from Burrowing Owl Winery. Nice and rich though not as bold as some other vintages. — 9 years ago
Silky fruity taste. Wonderful wine. — 9 years ago
Unusually buttery. Not noticeable oak factor. — 10 years ago
Yum! Just the right amount of sweetness! — 10 years ago
Smooth and elegant. Acidic w mineral and white pepper notes w just a touch of Brett. I imagine this is what Syrah tasted like 100 years ago. 😊🙏🍷 — 5 years ago

Cellar tracker shows to drink by 2015. If well stored I would extend that to at least 2018. Deep red, powerful, slightly dry. — 7 years ago

Tropical and citrus fruit with notes of peach and balanced acidity. Incredible example of Finger Lakes Riesling, 2014 is a great year for FLX Riesling too. — 10 years ago

A more dry rose, but very smooth! — 8 years ago
Take a dill pickle from a good deli and bash it around in a well-made humidor then set that whole affair in front of a bowl of blackberry conserves. Et voila! Initial impressions. With air, this sheds the dill and cedar and replaces it with wintergreen. Overall a beautiful expression of a difficult and contentious variety. Satisfy your curiosity here; you'll enjoy it. — 8 years ago
My wife and daughter love this Riesling. They prefer this over the semi-dry version. A good wine with subtle hints of pear. Excellent with fish. — 8 years ago
Overall taste of squash with notes of walnut and pecan, or nutty with squash notes depending on the glass. Slightly buttery, and overally very flavourful and powerful. I loved it. Perhaps oaked Chardonnays are my thing?
