Nothing like a nice, dry Riesling to wet your whistle after a day of shopping with the wife. This has been a regular go to for me for so long. Floral, honeyed overtones on the nose. Bright, golden yellow, with mouthwatering acidity, which should pair wonderfully with some Knockwurst and sauerkraut, which I was just craving!

Wonderful complexity. Finished with vanilla. — 9 years ago
2004. Surprising finalist in recent Shiraz roundup. Eucalyptus and mint at the start gives way to candied black fruits. Showing its age a little - looked and tasted older than 2002 and 2001 vintages in the tasting. Still, a strong funky finalist. A lot of sediment. — 9 years ago
Super easy drinking. Refreshing. Typical California style. Vanilla popcorn lemon 🍋.

Very deep purple color with ruby hues. On the nose: a bit of minerals, dark red fruit jam and pepper. Taste: medium tannins, a bit dry with hints of dried black cherries, plum and cracked black pepper. Good value. — 8 years ago
Clean as a whistle and appreciated for waking up my haggard palate. Day-bright and clear. Grapefruit pith, lime leaf, and hard lemon candy on the nose. Kiwifruit, tart green apple, lychee, papaya, and lush acid. Classic Marlby SB. — 9 years ago

Cedar, black olive tapenade, plum, spice, herbs/lavender and chalk on the nose. Med tannin, vanilla, olive, pretty herbs, menthol/eucalyptus and tar on the palate, with a bit of sawdust on the finish. Young, I know, but still fun. — 10 years ago

Lacking big time. Aptly named Tin Man, for there's not much to it. — 8 years ago
