Oxidative, crisp, pears, honey, light hazelnut cream and summertime giggles. Paired nicely with the MMA fight we watched 😄 — 10 years ago
Great wine. Nice density. Perfume/Berries with moist earth fight for front stage on aromas. Palate is gradual, sinking bing cherry with chalk and incorporated tannin. Easy acid, but remaining balanced with the rest of the wine. Opened 7/2/15 — 11 years ago

Beautiful and bratty hardcore plum. Ohh I wanna fight this wine — 13 years ago
I feel like many S.M. Producers fight the amazing tannins that the AVA can bring. This powerful wine deserves contemplating over a long dinner. Or you could wait awhile. — 10 years ago
This is uniquely yummy. A rich Carmel and berry aroma with big intense fruit that makes me wonder if it's 100% Cab. I had my doubts when I read about it, but love it and bought the last 11 bottles at Wilber's--and then had to fight off a bunch of people trying to snatch it outta my cart... — 10 years ago
This wine has balls, but also manners. Classic and thick Italian richness, but goes down without a fight. Good day one, very good day two. Great WTSO find. — 11 years ago
It took 35 minutes to open up, but after that delicate rose notes, sauvage and red berries fight to dominate the palate, all pinned with surprisingly bright acidity. — 11 years ago
'07 - a lot of fruit left in here. cedar chips and tart blackberry with a long, strong finish. — 11 years ago

A bit hot. Nice color but tough to fight — 10 years ago
It’s a dark wine, almost inky, with a fantastically funky nose. The dark fruit sort of waves as it goes by, while the smell of meat just stands there and stares at you. There is a hint of pepper, a dash of mint, but that smoky, meaty smell really dominates. On the palate, a dark, brooding plum and blackberry combination put up a little more of a fight against the earthy, meaty flavors. It’s really a great tasting wine.

Great color in the glass. Medium + density. Pomegranate nose with floral aspects and some baking spice. Palate is light, progressing to a finishing good with structure and some tannin. Acid is great overall. Raspberry and Strawberry fight for the front seat. Long lingering, sinking cherry finish. Opened 5/10/15 — 11 years ago
Bro brought some bull's blood of Eger. Will help one fight off armies. — 11 years ago
What can I say? When you're drinking Pomeral, life is sublime. Haunting bouquet, full, but not overpowering. Aromas of black currant, fig, cedar, tobacco, caramel. Silken and complex on the palate, generous fruit, focus and structure. This is the kind of wine that ruins marriages because you fight over the last drop. — 13 years ago
