Very good Napa cab. Dark, burnt fruit. Strong tannins, smokey. Would buy again. Smyrna beverage warehouse $25. — 5 years ago
Very enjoyable, found this very bold in the first taste and mellowed out towards the finish which was very smooth. Fruity and balanced. — 7 years ago

The nose on this was incredible from the start - cassis, baking spices, and chocolate- exactly what I was craving tonight. But the wine really needed a lot of time to open up. Luckily, it's a Friday night and I've got nowhere to be! An hour and a half after decanting, the Cab Franc that had been very pronounced upon opening the bottle had mellowed and integrated nicely with the rest of the blend. — 5 years ago

Deep in color with a short reddish rim. Not showing much age.
Medium plus in body with nice complexity.
A little harsh on the palate with medium acidity.
Showing red and black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco, coffee, cola, licorice and peppercorn.
Short finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 27 year old Napa Cabernet is still drinking very nicely, although not at its best. A little unbalanced, but drinkable nonetheless. Really liked the tannins here.
Needed some time to open up, and show structure and tannins, but good right out of the bottle as well.

Beautiful jammy port. Paired with 3 kinds of cheddar and complemented beautifully. Later, paired with chocolatey Pots de Creme. Amazing! — 7 years ago

Dark ruby color. Aromas of dark berry fruit, leather, sweet spices and roasted nuts. Cooked Black berry/raspberry/cherry fruit on the palate with notes of dark chocolate, plums and sweet and savory spices. Hint of vanilla on the long and silky finish. Smooth tannins but a bit light on acidity. Pleasant and well crafted. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! — 6 months ago
