Dark ruby in color with a short purplish rim.
Extremely fruity nose with plums, smoke, blackberries, blueberries, figs, vanilla, cedar, sweet cherries, chocolate,spices and black pepper.
Bold and full bodied with nice acidity and great long legs.
Dry and smooth on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, cranberries, currants, vanilla, wood, cloves, licorice and black pepper.
Long tart finish, with big round tannins.
14.8% alcohol by volume.
What a great blend. As it opens up it somewhat detiorates, with less fruit and more tartness. Great for steaks. — 10 years ago
