This wine is delicious from top to bottom. The nose reveals pencil shavings and graphite; just what I would expect from a superb Pinot Noir in this stage of its development. The flavors, however, caught me by pleasant surprise. Bountiful acidity and high-toned red fruits like cranberries and plums integrate seamlessly with a pleasant earthy, umami base. Drink now or continue cellaring. — 9 years ago
