This is the very definition of everything that's right about inexpensive Italian wine. Black cherries, little leather, nice big tannins and acid. Perfect with dinner. — 9 years ago

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot (50%) and Cabernet Franc(10%). Dark ruby color. Bold aromas of dark plums, currants and chocolate. Ripe red fruit on the palate with hints of dark chocolate and baking spices. Nice touch of cedar and smoke on the extremely long finish. Viscous texture, full bodied and plush, but not over the top. Dusty tannins with crisp acidity that leads to beautiful balance. Well crafted elegance in a glass. Great wine! Thanks for bringing this exquisite bottle, Kase! — 4 months ago
