Nobility 215a Dry Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc 2021

A Dry White Blend of 95% Chardonnay and 5% Sauvignon Blanc from Israel.

A truly out-of-the-ordinary white blend, named in honor of Sergeant Major Yitzhak Tamir, who fell during the Yom Kippur War, the “215a” marking his military unit and commemorating his service.

This is a luxurious and expressive wine that beautifully unites Chardonnay’s richness with a dash of Sauvignon Blanc’s brightness for added lift and structure.

On the nose:
Aromas of baked green pear and a subtle petrol-like nuance give the wine an Old World complexity. Hints of ripe honeydew melon, green apple, and a touch of lemon zest unfold gradually.

On the palate:
Silky, layered, and textural, with notes mirroring the nose and carrying through a long, elegant finish. The French oak influence is well-integrated, adding a delicate creaminess without overshadowing the fruit or freshness.

Mouthfeel overall:
Refined and balanced, the wine offers depth, finesse, and a smooth texture, making it a standout example of how Israeli white wines can surprise with both complexity and charm.

Conclusion:
A white blend of character and soul, perfect for those seeking something beyond the expected. Drink now, or let it evolve a little more in bottle. No Meshuval. Cheers to legacy and craftsmanship. 🍐🍋🍷
