An explosion of dark ripe cherry, plum and BlackBerry. Hot at 15% a.b.v. , but smooth with no burn.
Mild tannins, lingering finish. If your reading this, please try it. $15 at my local liquor store.
One of the best red blends I've tried.

The funk had increased and so did the honey and the wild flowers and salt. All playing a tighter composition with the symphony pulling each act together. #astor — 7 years ago
I received this wine as a gift. Apparently their tasting room in Yountville is a partnership of some sort with Ralph Lauren Home... which seems like a brilliant concept to sell furniture, etc. Lime and peach lead the way, with some tropical undertones. Plenty of salty minerality that reminds me of Albariño. — 8 years ago

We are testing this between two glasses! I prefer the Jamesse by far (although the shape is there on this glass....I am not convinced it is truly Crystal).
As for this Bubbly..I have waited months for its arrivaI and I am so thrilled!! This is a glass of total refinement..tangerine..cotton candy..minerals...red berries..Brioche...just super delicious!! I was able to acquire two bottles of this...will let the next one age several years!!
I am accompanying this with Vivaldi...(my Son's nickname while he was in QC Youth Symphony) — 7 years ago

Notes of musk and Lychees. A palate of pure Turkish Delight. A varietally pure and accurate rendition of Gewürztraminer. This Wine was one of the reasons that Mike Hayes was awarded Australian winemaker of the year last week by the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology. The first Queenslander to win this award. Tasted again 29 weeks later with consistent notes. A dead giveaway for Gewürztraminer if tasted blind. — 8 years ago
In a word, delicious. Lots of floral and fruit notes. A little sweet but also has a nice tartness that balances. A great white! — 6 years ago
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this afternoon with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our conductor Andris Nelsons is leading GERSHWIN (Piano Concerto in F), GERSHWIN (Variations on “I Got Rhythm,” for piano and orchestra) and STRAVINSKY (Petrushka) with the amazing Jean-Yves Thibaude as the piano soloist on the two first works presented today. Jean-Yves is by far among our favorite pianists to grace the Koussevitzky Shed stage, so graceful, yet poignant!
Hot days call for cool wines, today there are some fun ones planned for sharing.
Similar notes from our last bottle.
Savory herbs, beeswax, citrus pith. So wonderful! — 6 years ago
Amazing. Amarone at its best. Thick, dense complex nose of charcuteries, mulberries, tobacco, ceder and subtle oak flavors; a delicious port-like palate that holds everything in place and which lingers like a symphony for minutes. — 7 years ago
A smoker guaranteed to get you into those pants before it’s even opened. Once it’s opened, those pants shall eviscerate right before your very eyes. And you will look down. And your pants are off too. Let the symphony of loinflowering begin. — 7 years ago
Good wine, sweet and would buy again — 8 years ago
