Bold maneuver by Joe Swick of co-fermenting Pinot Gris & Noir results in a pleasurable puzzle of a wine, like listening to Ornette Coleman get rid of chord changes, this wines interacts w perceptions at a radical pace. The Pinot Gris actually supplies more tannic chew that buzzes on the palate while the Noir presents a folk melody structure to wrap your mind around. The collision is rather haunting, and I can't wait to understand how it goes with food in surprising ways. I'm gonna glass this sucker at Americano! — 10 years ago

Took a gamble on this as Thanksgiving wine. Low alcohol and high acidity. A bit of mineral but also pears. Crisp. Paired well with everything. Versatile. — 7 years ago

Such a pretty wine, well crafted with a deft touch. It would make the Evanstead's nervous. — 10 years ago
Really good value in this bottle. I’m excited to see what else Joe Swick has to offer — 7 years ago
Lolly water, tastes like Gatorade with alcohol, excellent chilled, excellent for breakfast, would be a great wine to drink as a teenager as it’s so crushing — 7 years ago
Orange, pear, apple. Slight minerality. Very structured with round finish. — 8 years ago
High acidity with saline quality framing citrus and stone fruit. — 8 years ago
Buttered popcorn, subtle vanilla, and lime zest on the nose that translates to a creaminess on the front then raging acidity on the finish. Really interesting wine! — 9 years ago
