For the price an excellent SV in the traditional Loire style. One can pay more and get much less. Very well balanced, nuanced flower and white fruit on the tongue, long clean finish. Not just a casual cool drink for summer as some have said, and no relation to CA or certainly not NZ SVs. More clarity and focus while presenting nice unfolding flavors. As a good Loire SV ought. NZ CA have their charm too, but different. I'm not arguing for a grand cru by any means, just saying this is better than the price would suggest at least in this vintage. — 9 years ago

Amazing perfume of cut flowers on the nose. On the palette, it's tense and taught like a coiled spring. Perfect balance and acidity. Finishes with pomegranate and a hint of strawberries. A strong effort that needs food. — 10 years ago
