A blend of 78% Pinot Noir and 22% Chardonnay & aged 3 years prior to release, showing aromas of red fruit, citrus and spice. Raspberry and cherry flavors come forth with orange zest, earthy spice and tiny flowing bubbles. The wine is well balanced, gentle acidity, some yeast and minerality on the lingering finish. Some serious juice... A wonderful floral, spice builds the nose. Starts off bright with juicy, ripe cranberries and currants, accentuated by cocoa and orange pith. Rounds out with fresh pomegranate, dark, cordial cherries, and red plums. Finishes with black licorice, fresh anise, and chicory root. This is far too young and is like an ADHD child on the palate. But it will be exciting to see what it does in a few years. — 9 years ago

Nice way to ease into the weekend on this hot Texas day. Honeysuckle, lemon curd on the nose. Fresh, bright on the mid palate flashing tangerine, lemon rind and melon with acidity that tugs on your checks. Long spicy finish with white pepper and a hint of soy.
