Scored this back-vintage Mineral+ off the shelf at Flatiron, actually my first go at this wine. I get the hype! Complex and delicious tree fruit, oxidized yellow apples, pears, lemons, dank sea spray and beach aromas, ripping acid with plenty of meat on the bones. Very very savory and saline, literally smells salty. I imagine the vintage gave this wine some extra weight, but the thiccness suits my palate fine. This wine actually reminds me of @Erik Longabardi ‘s Suburban Moraines cider- brings me back to an early fall day on the LI sound. Love it. — 4 years ago
One of the most compelling wines I’ve had in a while. Took about 45-60 minutes to open up but once it did I found this Grüner Veltliner/Chardonnay blend to be very seductive, deep, rich, and complex. Constantly evolving yet always approachable. In terms of notes I can’t resist providing what Suburban Wines says about it:
“On the nose, this lovely white shows soft, inviting notes of white pear, muskmelon and key lime juice. Stone-like minerality marks the palate, with complimentary elements of mint, apple blossoms, and Asian pears. The first sip is supple on the palate leading to a finish with firm structure and grip. This is a truly remarkable wine.”

Cherry and wet pavement. Barely underripe strawberry on the nose. Absolutely gorgeous. Tastes like suburban summers as they are remembered & romanticized. — 7 years ago
Notes of lemon, ripe green apple, and vanilla, with perhaps some caramel or butterscotch on the finish as well. Creamy and luxurious, but well-balanced with refreshing minerality and a nice backbone of acidity. An absolutely gorgeous wine. Really enjoying Oregonian Chardonnay as a more affordable alternative to high-quality white Burgundy. Purchased at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY. — 4 years ago
A beautiful example of "the other white Burgundy". Dry with notes of green apple, lemon, and tropical fruit. M body, M+ acid with salty minerality. Great with pan-seared salmon for dinner. Purchased at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY. — 4 years ago
Lean, mean, crisp apple and lemon oil, fresh herbs, intensely marine-influenced minerality and salinity. Lovely Chenin-like wooliness and energizing acid on the palate. Bravo to my friend @Erik Longabardi on this profound expression of Long Island history and terroir. — 4 years ago
Billy bought this at Suburban Liquors & Wine in Yorktown Heights. It was delicious & really tasty with spicy foods. Would definitely purchase again. Bright & flavorful — 5 years ago
Nice little house warming gift for our new suburban life — 6 years ago
Intense and savory with notes of dark fruit, pepper, and olive. Delicious now, but would likely benefit from some aging. A taste of the Northern Rhone from the North Coast of California. Purchased at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY. — 4 years ago
Dark fruit with spice and pepper. Medium+ acidity, medium+ youthful tannins. Distinct minerality, reminiscent of wine from Cornas, but for a fraction of the price. Great value, especially since it was purchased on-sale ($18) at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY. — 4 years ago
Fruit forward, semi sweet. Nice easy drinker. — 5 years ago
Sweet, fruity. Good with fruit based desserts. — 5 years ago
Lovely wine with a good blackberry nose. Smooth with good body and a taste that lingers well. It matched fried chicken - the height of British suburban chic on a Friday night - and a nice Mediterranean vegetable and chicken ensemble over two nights.
At £10 from Majestic it's a steal. — 5 years ago
Pretty decent for a pinot grigio (the suburban housewife of white wines). Good acid and refreshing and not limp like so many. Something to offer. — 6 years ago
Elegant, fresh, picked straight off a lemon tree and squeezed and put in a pitcher and sold on a street corner in suburban heaven for .25 cents a mason jar full. This puckerupper is sassy AND punk... not yr average sylvaner. — 7 years ago

Red cherry, herbs, and olive brininess with chalky minerality. Well-integrated but firm tannins and fresh acidity. A graceful wine with a bit of a wild side, too. Purchased at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY. — 4 years ago
