When you stumble upon delicious wine with some character ❤️❤️💃🏻 — 8 years ago
We blinded this at work last week and had some fun bc it wasn't like my typical stuff. With some time in Oak and some Vio blended it's not like 90% of SB you stumble on. I don't love it, this btl was a gift and I won't ever rebuy it but it was fun to go outside my bubble and it is a solid, pleasant tasting, good wine. — 9 years ago
Fun to stumble upon this. There is more, but I'm not telling where. — 10 years ago
As I browse for a different red, I stumble or ramble across a bottle that surely did not disappoint. The taste was super wet on the tongue, semi-sweet, semi-dry. Like a regular wine should taste like. Now I am only 1/2 glass from killing the Bottle that I know it was very good wine. Bravo to the winemaker. I give this 8.5/10 stars. — 6 years ago
That's the stuff. Dry, structured with pleasant mouth feel. How come I need to taste 5 bad ones to stumble across a gem like this? Thank you, France. — 8 years ago
OK Delectable family: what do you call that moment after dessert and cheese when you stumble down to the cellar and ponder, "how do I go to the next level" when nobody can even level the table? We need a name for it, as that's where I was when Dan took my hand off the Henschkes in a "please put the weapon down slowly" mumble. Thankfully he aimed it at this pleasant, potent, young jammy 407 Cab that, as I can best recall, did a damned good job evoking a young Napa Cab. I think I said Round Pond? Ignore the score it's a hazy guess, but thanks Dan - we need a term for cellar friends like that, too! — 9 years ago
A dark, brooding fruit nose of black cherry and pomegranate meets you, then hints of earth and spice stumble out. Killer structure allows for tart cherries and cranberries to shine. "California Pinot with Oregon elegance," is the only way I can describe it. Drinks much higher than the SRP ($27). — 9 years ago
My Favourite Blend... Because of the stumble hints of Syrah — 11 years ago
Accomasso. Years ago most didn't know him or not care about his wines. Now his Baroli are among the rarest worldwide. Good or bad? What an honor it was to taste this uber classic beautiful 1996 "Rocchette" (official single vineyard in "Rocche dell'Annunziata, la morra) from this outstanding vintage recently. Dark berries, cranberries, smoke, road tar & torched earth. Still a firm tannic structure, I loved a lot among the flavors of first maturity. A very straight, austere and honest Barolo that shows the traditional character of what Nebbiolo can be. Hope to stumble upon another 1996 again someday... — 7 years ago
Absolutely marvelous. What a treat to stumble upon this in your cellar. — 8 years ago
Very flavorful. Was happy to stumble across it as I love their red blend — 9 years ago
Cheers to Amanda for the tasting.
It's a small world when you stumble upon a winery owned and ran by a couple who live 5 minutes from you back in Adelaide. #wineworldissmall — 9 years ago
It was worth getting lost on the way home to stumble across a sign that said "vins d'ailleurs." — 10 years ago

This I was equally excited to stumble across. It’s surprisingly hard to find. I got lucky with the 2014 but never found the 2015. Unlike The Calling, this was amazing. Generous cherry fruit and earl grey tea flavors, with a long, lovely herbaceous finish. One of the best, if not the best, sub-$20 Pinots I’ve had. Stock up. — 6 years ago
