A great pleasure to drink this at Rebelle with Mr Schoener a stone's throw away at the bar. Excellent, tropical fruit nose with great acidity, length, and food versatility. — 10 years ago
Delish very inky petite sirah. Nice subtle spice deep tannins and red fruit. — 11 years ago
Been sitting on this wine for awhile. Given the vintage, was nervous about its longevity. Given the producer, was nervous about opening too soon. Finally just decided to throw caution to the wind and enjoy a beautifully made wine from a champion of wine who is no longer with us. Hibiscus, ripe cherries, cinnamon, nutmeg, wonder — 9 years ago
A gorgeous bouquet of violets came rising immediately on the first pour, bursting into my nose showing only a hint of barbecue sauce and what's to come. 30 minutes later bacon was grilling in the glass and smoke was rising in billowing clouds of invisible aroma. Fuck ya. Always over delivers, this one. Cote rotie throw aways? Yes please and thanks! — 10 years ago
Excellent DIPA, big tropical and citrus malts, for a double, it drinks so smooth, cannot taste the ABV at all, taste profile is similar to Stone's " Enjoy By" but not as big fresh hopped, but close, when fresh, This is Beer Republic's Crown Jewel IPA, so if you are like me and love their other beers, Racer 5, Racer X, you will love this — 10 years ago
When you eventually see that I have uploaded all these wines we shared, you will most likely delete me from following you. I want you to know that these memories mean something significant to me, and that I will not throw them away. You mean something significant to me, I cannot just delete the love I have in my heart for you. — 10 years ago

With a fresh, herbal nose, and flavors of lemon grass and dill, this GrüV has a touch of starfruit and grapefruit, with a pinch of pepper. It was waxy on the lips, which cut through the bite that can make some Grüners sharp around the edges. The mouthfeel was quilted down, light and bright like fresh laundry hung dry on the line. I would want to drink this during a simple lunch of bagels and lox, with a slather of cream cheese, onions and a couple capers. Throw in a picnic blanket, and color me content #GrüV #Arnold #HastaLaVistaBaby — 10 years ago
As promised this is a good "everyday" wine that goes well with pasta and pizza. — 11 years ago
Aroma of green apple and lemon. Lemon notes on palette and some warm crisp acidity. Very nice Riesling. — 12 years ago
