Wish I had more of these in my cellar. Drinking great w an impeccable balance of black fruit, savory and mildly spicy elements. Fully resolved texture, and vibrantly alive, this could take more time in cellar. — 5 years ago
Such an interesting wine. So unexpected terroir mineral balance with pineapple pear fruit. Top notch! Tasted great with Santa Barbara uni, ikura, Toro and negi-hamachi! — 6 years ago
Good, very interesting concept with the own root stock and unobstructive, non crushing process. Have to let it breathe a bit to round out but once you do, pretty easy drinking! — 6 years ago

2014 Site Rousanne
I loved this. Drank it warm, well cellar temp. Medium bodied with layers of honey and citrus. I would compare this to the Alban Estate or the Lillian which are both outstanding. Maybe not quite as successful as these wines. Flavors not quite as well integrated or polished. Still a super imteresting wine. — 8 years ago
Chamomile, acacia honey, hazelnuts. Superbly concentrated, plenty of acidity, long. Lift & elegance. One of the best Stolpman Roussannes ever. @Peter Stolpman #ballardcanyon #roussanne — 9 years ago
Bruno has been a bad boy with this one. Spot on cal-ital Sangiovese. Perfect with pizza. — 10 years ago
The nose was so deceptive compared to the palate. Massive fruit on the nose, but the taste was earthy and balanced. — 11 years ago
#stolpman great Sangiovese. — 11 years ago

Dark, dense tannins, but very well integrated. Blackberries, tobacco, some underlying citrus characteristics. Can age for many years! — 5 years ago
