Just had this with Linguini and King Prawns done in Garlic and Lime. Roasted cherry Toms and Black Olives, topped off with a piece of Salmon and Pea Shoots.
One superb wine that worked so well. Thank you Carmen. — 9 years ago
In the words of Cat Stevens - You are young / that's your fault / there's so much you have to know — 9 years ago
Lovely medium bodied Shiraz showing some secondary characters of chocolate behind some beautiful red berries. — 10 years ago
Great dark color and heavily toasted malt. While potent, actually mutes the hops floral notes. Finishes toasty and vanilla. — 10 years ago
Gotta love Cat Stevens! Growing up I loved listening to Cat Stevens and Tea for the Tillerman. When I saw this wine on the shelf with its label it brought back many memories. The nose is nice with black fruit, red plum and dusty forest floor. On first swirl I am getting currants, licorice, some herbal notes and nice tannin. Not a bad wine for $15 bones. I would buy again. — 11 years ago
Outstanding mid aged Hunter Semillon. Extremes fresh, crisp and very, very good. Great life. - Phil Laffer — 8 years ago

Winemaker Benoit Touquette has a masterpiece on his hands! Thank you David Stevens and Elizabeth Vianello at 750 Wines for introducing us to this dark magenta beauty. Always an interesting blend of fruit from all over the valley, this one has great dark fruit and dry chocolate tastes. The grapes are Cabernet Sauvignon: 75% from Calistoga, Saint Helena, Pritchard Hill, Yountville
Merlot: 6% from Saint Helena
Syrah: 5% from Calistoga
Zinfandel: 5% from Yountville
Petite Sirah: 5% from Saint Helena
Petit Verdot: 2% from Saint Helena
Malbec: 1% from Saint Helena
Cabernet Franc: 1% from Saint Helena. Insane....right? You bet! — 8 years ago

Absolutely exceptional. We drank it with Harvest Moon and Blue Coule and St. Stevens Four Fat Foul triple cream with all the accoutrements for Oscars night Feb. 28, 2016— a decadent feast! — 9 years ago
Michael Kirby is one of my favorite wine makers and every DR Stevens I've had has been good. This is better than good. And while you can cellar it and wait, why would you do that when you can enjoy this one right now — 9 years ago
First had on the dock at Stevens — 10 years ago
This was delicious with halibut braised in tomatoes and pancetta ( Molly Stevens- AllAbout Braising). The wine held its own with food that was bursting with flavor - it did not overwhelm. — 10 years ago
Sweet aromas of mango, citrus and apple. Can't believe this brand owned by a rapper, E-40. — 11 years ago
Nice flavor, bold, soft tannins, heavier fruit than normal cabs. Good nose — 12 years ago

So good, will buy again — 9 years ago
Young. Wish I had waited. With that said, it's a power red. Lovely nose, great fruit and secondaries like leather and smoke make this wine big, bold, and perfect. WBA — 10 years ago
