Medium ruby centre , quite wide light pink ruby rim . Quite expressive nose with blackcurrant , iris , roasted red peppers and earthy tobacco notes . On the palate quite rounded and juicy, medium bodied , with those blackcurrant , blackberry and earthy , dark chocolate notes coming through , quite fresh acidity, fine but very slightly bitter tannins and balanced alcohol. Medium minus length with tobacco tinged finish . Drink now and over the next 5-7 years to preserve as much of fresh fruit character as possible . — 10 months ago

Lovely smell and full mouthfeel. A real kick from the tannins to end it off (a tad too much without food). — a year ago

Very pretty. Manure, controlled. Cherry, roses, violets, black currant, and sexy musk. Ripping acids. Transparent burgundy character. Just entering its drinking window — 7 months ago
