Local distributor no longer carrying Red Cat by Hazlitt Vineyards, this was recommended as a suitable substitute. I have to agree with the recommendation. — 8 years ago
Cellared for 2 years - notes of raisin begin to appear underneath a fruit forward wine. — 3 years ago
Pale lemon in colour. Herbal, with a bit of petrol, and lime on the nose. Fresh sage, gooseberry, and soft fennel notes on the palate. Medium acidity with the fennel/licorice lingering on the palate, coming around to ripe mandarins. — 4 years ago
Without having a basis for comparison, this is a nice wine. Upon opening the nose is cherry with a touch of floral, high alcohol and light body color. Taste similarly, light with lots of cherry, smoke, tobacco, leather and tart but not fully integrated yet. As it decanted, the flavors started to meld yet never subsiding in its structure. Would like to try this after some age on it. — 5 years ago
Some residual sugar; a little spritzy. Unusual flavor - grapefruit section dividers, sort of resinous notes but clean palate. — 7 years ago

CostoCo wine we had in Beatrice — 5 years ago
Delicious! Nose was full and fruity. Blueberry pie, cassis, dark fruits and some floral notes. Tastes delicious. Some tannins that softened over the course of the bottle. Would be nice decanted. — 7 years ago
Had this at mockingbird in Oakland. Loved it. Some floral notes also slightly peppery. Fairly full bodied — 7 years ago

Still good fruit. Lots of secondary notes. Some dried herbs, dark plum, tar. Refined and still all in place — a year ago
