Lovely unusual Savoie wine that's a perfect winter white. Burgundian familiarity but without the oak... Nice crisp minerality with a hint of Vouvray-esque Chenin on the finish.

Possibly a perverse choice for winter storm Jonah . Served just cool with a crackling pork chop and a mound of eggplant caponata, it give me the will to live and hope for a Bandol Mourvèdre before spring. — 10 years ago

Great Fall/Winter wine, dark brooding, ripe cherry, earthy, spicy, floral. Nice tannins, good acidity, full bodied. Drink it with strong cheese, wild game, Braised shank or on its own at the end of the day. — 11 years ago
A proper Bordeaux. Oaky and bold. A lovely winter warmer. Very tasty indeed. — 12 years ago
