Margaux. Love. Finesse. Words that pair well together to describe this brilliant Bordeaux - as I am likely biased to a good Margaux, this is just wow. Deep, mature red fruits and a well matured robust body make this a wonderful experience to be cherished with each sip. Finishes nicely and is just pure bliss, paring well with the awesome notes on the nose that bring you right to France with the first whiff, on a first class ticket to Bordeaux. Leave the bags unpacked and don't bother leaving for the airport - France has just arrived at your door, and she wants to share. You need this in your life for the holidays! — 10 years ago

Really jumps out of the glass with classic St Estephe cab sav dominated nose. The most expressive of the Cos stable of wines. Dark and plush on the palate, nice grip, long and deep finish. A touch of oak is present at this stage. This is a wine that will really show well when the tannins are more integrated. But nevertheless it has a great future, a complete wine — 12 years ago

On the nose, sweet tarry notes, dark chocolate bar, sweet blue fruit cassis, baking spices, boysenberries, huckleberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, black plum, whiff of white pepper, smoke & a touch of bacon fat, spice-box, dark fruit Eau de vie brandy, a touch of soy, dark rich soils, dry top soil/clay, spearmint and fresh & dark red florals. The body is full, rich & round. The M+ tannins are velvety & round but still have nice teeth. The palate is very similar to the nose. Sweet tarry notes, dark chocolate bar, sweet blue fruit cassis, baking spices, boysenberries, huckleberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, black plum, smoke & a touch of bacon fat, whiff of white pepper, menthol, spice-box, dark fruit Eau de vie brandy, a touch of soy, dark rich soils, dry top soil/clay, spearmint and fresh & dark red florals. The finish is big, full, balanced in fruit, earth & spice, elegant and lasts and lasts. Photos of; their new facility opened in April of this year.
