Pale straw-yellow. Incisive citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complicated by suave floral and smoky mineral flourishes. Juicy and sharply delineated on the palate, offering concentrated Meyer lemon, pear and bitter quinine flavors sweetened by a subtle touch of honey. The mineral note comes back strong on a vibrant finish that shows outstanding clarity and tension. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Feb 2018)

It's like sitting on a leather chair in a cigar room. Lovely ruby color. Plummy. Smooth mild round tannins full bodied. Honey immukated mouth feel with a peppery finish. Love love love — 10 years ago
This is one of the most purely delicious spirits I've tasted in quite some time. Bourbon-like vanilla and cherry aromas, prevalent chocolate in the middle and roasted corn at the end. Alcoholic, but smooth on the palate w/ more of that bourbon corn and butterscotch. Very cool product!! Hope to see its return! — 10 years ago
2005 vintage. Kanta by Egon Muller. Pale golden hue. Lime dominant, chalky minerality, subtle rubber TDN notes, honey and biscuity. On the palate, lovely texture, medium plus acidity, hit of concentration of fruit and limes, medium minus body and medium alcohol. Good clean finish with a slight bitter green nut note. Very good Aussie Riesling that still has plenty of years ahead of it, as evident from the fruit. Drink Now until 2026. — 10 years ago
1997 vintage. Medium Amber hue. Medium intensity of apples, Perry pears, honey, vanilla. Apple sauce, wood resin, cinnamon, toffee apple. With water added, more wood and vanilla notes to the fore. Very aged. On the palate, off dry, smooth integrated alcohol. Full bodied, pronounced flavour intensity of apples, pears, honey and toffee apple. Long finish, highly complex spirit. — 11 years ago
I know it’s the style, but the sweetness is a more than I anticipated. Apples and lemons, citrus and honey. People love this wine but I think it is just ok. — 11 years ago
Outstanding for a 12$ bottle.. Honey pear, nice acid, stupidly smooth for this price range — 12 years ago
II’ve loved all the Sandhi 2012 range of whites & this £65 S&B is superb 👍 Paired with enough curry to get a small village going regular for a week 🤣 💨 sorry I didn’t take pics of that feast 😁

👃 Chopped pineapple, crushed rock mineral, lemon oil, key lime pie, honey gloop & white jasmine flowers w/ light oak, vanilla & apple
👄 Med+ body of creamy refreshing clean tropical & citrus yummyness without being overly syrupy & a hit of green apple, pineapple, honey & minerality in med acidity
🎯 Med+ fresh apple, citrus & tropical trickle w/ a dry mineral honeyed pineapple slapette — 7 years ago
Chardonnay- stone fruit. Ripe, rich. Red checked cloth spilling out of wicker picnic basket. Cello. Crusty bread. Cheese and honey. Clouds in the sky — 9 years ago
Really wonderful, full off dry Riesling. Roasted pineapple and spice flavors, a honey-like sweetness and great acidity, and a sort of nutty or seedy quality I can't put my finger on. — 9 years ago
Recently read George Taber's book about the 1976 Paris Tasting so I was dying to give Grgich chard a try. This was a lovely well balanced California Chardonay - which is a lot for me because usually they are way too lush for my taste. Subtle silky texture and with lemon, honey, and smokey vanilla flavors. A touch bit oakey for me on the finish , but I can imagine others really like that. Racy acidity and nice minerality that sometimes can be lacking in California whites. — 10 years ago
Lime, kiwi, honey dew, gardenias — 11 years ago
By far the best Oregon Chardonnay I've ever had and up there with all Chardonnays I've had. Light yet full of flavor aromas of honey and pear. Great finish. — 11 years ago
Medium body in light yellow, smells of citrus fruit, walnut and white flower, aged in neutral oak cask, crisp and lively with tastes of lime, grapefruit, and tree bark bitterness, long and lingering finish with a faint honey taste, superb! — 11 years ago
The 2015 is a light red with smooth taste throughout. — 8 years ago
On day 2 this has evolved to a better place, and may have put on a little weight. In particular, the mid-palette has more weight. Green apples, melon and honey present, similar to a classic burg. For the price, this ranks as one of our best finds in 2016. — 10 years ago
Kind of acidic on its own but pairs really well with BBQ steak — 10 years ago
Great sweet nose! You can smell the honey and apricot! Big taste of honeysuckle and orange! Reminds me of eating honeysuckles as a kid during the springtime!! Like it a lot!! — 10 years ago
Chamomile, honey, less dense than expected. — 11 years ago

Sourced from the esteemed Seven Hills Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley, this Viognier opens with a ripe bouquet of white peach, vanilla cream and suggestions of honey and apricot. The palate shows notable viscosity and tension, with nectarine, Pink Lady apple, green papaya and honeydew melon flavors all buiding up to the finish. Drink 2019-2025- 92 — 7 years ago
