Celebrating the end of summer with last bottle from Southold Farm + Cellar. Why I like this wine?
Esthetics. The label is spot on cool. Conversation starter and symbol of my best years.
Color. Hues of copper. Bottle sparkles with floating sediment. Gorgeous
Nose. Fresh strawberries. Perfect for the end of summer memories.

It's hard to drink wine that doesn't exist anymore (since the farm moved to Texas) without any nostalgia. Yes I very much like this wine. Opens up with the field flowers followed by honey and honey and honey with a right amount of acidity. Judging by cork this wine might be at its prime. Special moment — 9 years ago

High in acidity reminds me of Chablis. I like Channing Daughters and got hooked on their wines after Southold Farm + Cellar closed. I would like to visit them one day — 9 years ago
As a native of Long Island I had low expectations. This was a very pleasant surprise. Crisp, clean open Chardonnay at a reasonable price point... — 10 years ago
Typical pet-nat. Delicious and bubbly with a yeasty finish. Not too funky. — 11 years ago

My third time having this wine and the best showing yet. This wine is full of rich, brambly fruits but has such a razor-like acidity to keep things in balance. Superb. — 8 years ago
