im a southern boy.. so i like the name.. but really like this malbec from argentina — 13 years ago
Extremely layered but delicate nose lets you know you are in for a treat. There's no kick of gooseberry or cat pee, funk or wool. Instead, a great balance between the signature gun smoke, flint and lit match, layered with extra clean lemon, lime, and grapefruit. Palate is rich and round, full of citrus fruit and a stream of acidity. — 10 years ago
Yummy, woodsy and easy to drink. — 10 years ago
Refreshing, easy drinking wine, fruity with a dry finish. — 10 years ago
A gorgeous bottle! People forget about the original top gun with the new lieu dits, but this is smokin. — 11 years ago
Nice and punchy, yet readily drinkable — 12 years ago
Floral and cherry with a smooth, dry mouth feel. It's full bodied but not as heavy as a Cab. This wine could stand up to beef or barbecue. — 10 years ago
First sip was great and it just got better. Bold, earthy with notes of wood and fruit. Long, smooth finish. — 11 years ago
Smooth, buttery flavor with a hint of sweet — 11 years ago
Smooth and a little fruity but not too sweet. — 12 years ago
Gun Metal continues to be Jerry's strongest showing, out of several quite impressive years at Guardian, across all wines. Outstanding representation of his blending skills! — 12 years ago
