Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.
Beautiful nose of black fruits, cedar, chocolates, herbs, tobacco leaf and cola.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, mint, vanilla, spices, licorice, espresso, cola, light herbs, eucalyptus, light earth, tobacco leaf, dark chocolates and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 20 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is drinking beautifully now. Showing a gorgeous nose, that I kept on smelling for a while.
Feels much younger than it actually is, complex and well balanced.
Good right out of the bottle with grippy tannins, and better after a couple of hours in the decanter.
Peaking now and good by itself or with food. Will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
A gorgeous wine. I love these older Napa Bordeaux blends.
A blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. Aged in new American oak barrels for 22 months. Unfiltered and unfined.
13.8% alcohol by volume.
94 points.

Blackberry bramble, baked black cherry and plum, hints of maraschino, mint and menthol, bell pepper and geranium, cedar, tobacco, and bakers vanilla with whiffs of aged leather jacket on the nose. Blackberry, cherry, juicy raspberry, vanilla extract and weak black tea on the palate with a medium heavy body but a medium short finish. Overall a great wine for pumpkin pie brunch on Christmas morning (no it’s not too early). Merry Christmas! — 2 years ago

Dark purple, earthy and brambly…chalky tannins…reasonably balanced acid/tannin relationship. Reminds on southern Rhône. Very good. — 5 months ago
Wow. If this was blind - I would’ve guessed 20 year old Bordeaux. Super complex and combo of tannins, fruit, meat, and some tobacco. Crazy. Nothing like I remember it from last bottle we had 10 years ago — 7 months ago
Really great tart fruit, some good spice, little early to drink but the case came home to the house… lovely wine!!!! — 10 months ago

The best of the best. Nuanced, precise and so delicately delicious. Fresh and bright with precisely served portions of dark cherry and cassis, leather drenched in cuban tobacco and edged in uplifting minerality. Needless to say to say, this bottle went way too fast. — 4 months ago
Smells amazing, tastes great, takes me back for some reason. — 6 months ago
